Practice is an essential component to musical development and should occur daily. The amount of time needed will depend on what level the student is at. Beginning students may need only 10-20 minutes per day while intermediate students may need 15-25 minutes. Regular practice is the best way to ensure that both the mental and physical components of music making are properly developed and learned.

Lessons that are missed with at least 24 hours notice will be eligible for a make-up lesson. If notified within less than 24 hours of the scheduled lesson or class, no makeup will be offered. Please refer to our policies and procedures for additional information.

Yes! Performing is an essential part of a music education. We encourage, but don't require, all of our students to perform so that they showcase their hard work and develop confidence and pride in their abilities.
We offer student recitals at the end of our fall and spring semesters. Additional opportunities may come up through the year. For example, our students have been invited to perform at Nine Mile Creek Senior Living and the Richfield Community Center.
