Strum & Sing Ukulele

Overview

Join our Strum & Sing Ukulele class for children ages 8-12, where young musicians will embark on a fun and interactive musical journey! In this class, students will learn the parts of the ukulele, explore different strumming techniques, and master simple strumming patterns. They’ll also discover how to read chord charts, play basic chords, and recognize the difference between major and minor chords by ear.

Throughout the course, students will practice combining strumming with singing, building the confidence to play and sing along to popular songs. With hands-on activities, fun challenges, and jam sessions, this class is the perfect introduction to the ukulele for any budding musician!

This class is open to students ages 8-12 as well as all skill levels. Class size is limited to 8 students.

• Spring Session 1 (8 classes)

  • January 9-February 27

  • Thursdays, 4:00-4:45pm

• Spring Session 2 (8 classes)

  • March 6-May 1 (no class on 4/3)

  • Thursdays, 4:00-4:45pm

Tuition

• $100 per session

Materials Needed

• Ukulele (soprano or concert size recommended)

• All other materials will be provided.
