Short Notice Absences: Absences with less than 24 hours’ notice are ineligible for makeup lessons.
Teacher Cancellations & Substitute Teachers
In the rare event that a teacher needs to cancel a lesson:

Short Notice Cancellations: For cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, if a substitute teacher cannot be arranged, students may choose between a makeup lesson or a credit toward the next month’s tuition.
Inclement Weather and Emergency Cancellations
Studio Closure: Anthem Academy may remain open even if local schools close. In case of closure, announcements will be posted on our website.
Weather-Related Absences: If you are unable to attend due to weather, contact us before the lesson to arrange a makeup. Without advance notice, the lesson may be forfeited.
Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency, students and parents will be notified immediately, and eligible for a makeup lesson.
Online Lessons
In the event of technical issues:
Instructor Technical Issues: If technical problems on the instructor’s end prevent a lesson from taking place, a makeup lesson will be arranged at no additional cost.
Student Technical Issues: If technical issues arise on the student’s end, the lesson will not be rescheduled.
Lesson/Class Withdrawal
To withdraw from lessons, written notice (email or letter) must be provided at least one month (or four weeks) in advance. Failure to provide written notice will resut in a charge for the equivalent of one month of lessons.
Program Cancellation
Anthem Academy reserves the right to cancel any classes with insufficient enrollment. Classes not meeting the minimum enrollment requirement 24 hours prior to the start date may be cancelled. In such cases, you will be offered the option to transfer to another class or receive a full refund.
