Overview

Join our Late Bloomers Ukulele class, designed especially for adult beginners ready to explore the joy of making music!

In this class, you'll learn the parts of the ukulele, explore different strumming techniques, and master simple strumming patterns. You’ll also discover how to read chord charts, play basic chords, and identify the difference between major and minor chords by ear.Throughout the course, you’ll combine strumming with singing, building the confidence to play and sing along to popular songs from various eras, including hits from the 1950s to today. Whether you love classic tunes or modern favorites, this class will offer something for everyone. With relaxed, hands-on activities, engaging challenges, and group jam sessions, this class offers a supportive and enjoyable way to start your musical journey.

This class is open to adults of all skill levels, and no prior experience is required. Class size is limited to 10 participants for a personalized learning experience.

  • Thursdays, 6:00-6:45pm

• Spring Session 2 (8 classes)

  • March 6-May 1 (no class on 4/3)

  • Thursdays, 6:00-6:45pm

Tuition

• $100 per session

Materials Needed

• Ukulele (soprano or concert size recommended; tenor size is okay)

• All other materials will be provided.
